Works by the leading masters of the Renaissance and contemporary Russian composers in unaccompanied vocal music.

The program includes works by the leading masters of Renaissance music – Palestrina and Arkadelta- and an interpretation of the vocal music format without accompaniment from the leading Russian composers of our time – Alexei Sysoev and Vladimir Gorlinsky. As in the exhibition “Named Vasari. Revival”, the concert program explores the connection of times. What topics interested the authors then and now? How do they use the expressive possibilities of the vocal ensemble?

Performers: Arina Zvereva, Olga Rossini, Sergey Malinin, Ilya Laptev.

Arina Zvereva founded the vocal quartet N’Caged in 2013. The ensemble performs contemporary music and collaborates with leading contemporary Russian composers in all famous opera and drama productions, concert programs, performances, and museum projects. The head of the ensemble is Arina Zvereva, laureate of the special award “Golden Mask” “For the deep disclosure of the musical and artistic image, as well as for the development and expansion of modern vocal techniques.”
